Wakefield: Expect Approximately 47 Minutes of Fall Between Summer and Winter Sometime Around November 2

WAKEFIELD, Va.The National Weather Service in Wakefield announced today that the 2017 fall season will officially begin and end sometime around November 2 and span a total of length of 47 minutes. “We’re predicting less than an hour of fall weather, sometime towards the end of next week,” senior meteorologist Lisa Wagner confirmed in an official statement, noting that the forecasted time for the autumn season fell in the late afternoon hours on the November date. “We may be off by a couple of hours, but we’re pretty confident that we’ll get our beloved leaf-changing weather and jacket temperatures next Thursday around, say, 3:30 p.m., before plunging into the winter season.” She concluded her statement by indicating that the possibility for a spontaneous 80-plus degree day toward the end of November had not been ruled out, as “this particular summer just will not die.”
