Guy Named Norm Hates Going to Friday Cheers

RICHMOND, Va. — Expressing his distaste for being connected to the popular Cheers character, Church Hill resident Norm Sulley revealed that he hates going to Friday Cheers.

“Every Friday afternoon it’s the same dumb jokes,” Sulley explained. “Everyone simultaneously screams ‘Norm!’ as soon as I set foot on Brown’s Island. Then they taunt me about my supposed need for a beer, and act disappointed if I don’t respond with some witty one-liner about how perfect a cold beer is at any given time. And they keep asking about my wife Vera, even though I’ve never been married.”

After finishing his rant, sources confirm that Sulley then logged onto LinkedIn, where he continued his search for accounting jobs.
