Op-ed: I Can’t Prove It but I’ve Never Seen Joe Morrissey and Anthony Weiner in the Same Place

Many have pointed out the striking similarities between Anthony Weiner and Joe Morrissey. Both career liberal politicians, both accused of sex crimes against minors, and both lost their mayoral elections amid their respective controversies. What you haven’t heard in the mainstream media is that the similarities between these two titans of political conundrum might just run far deeper than the public has been led to believe. Consider the timeline below:

RELATED (article continued below):

June 2011 — The first of multiple sexting scandals involving then-Congressman Anthony Weiner is revealed when Weiner admits to sending suggestive photos of himself to women.

December 18, 2014 — Joe Morrissey resigned from his seat in the House of Delegates after entering his now-infamous Alford plea for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A month later, he won the special election by running as an Independent.

November 6, 2015 — Anthony Weiner appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” with Keith Olbermann, David Frum, Jillian Melchior, and Quentin Tarantino.

August 28, 2016 — The New York Post released a damning report, alleging that the aforementioned congressman, who sometimes used the pseudonym “Carlos Danger,” never stopped his inappropriate sexting.

June 11, 2016 — Joe Morrissey married his employee Myrna Pride, some 30 years his junior.

November 2, 2016 — After multiple sexting scandals erupted in the press, including one involving an underage female, Anthony Weiner supposedly checked into a sex rehab clinic. His wife, Huma Abedin, later filed for divorce and sole custody of their child.

November 8, 2016 — Morrissey lost the Richmond mayoral election, coming in third place with 21 percent of the vote.

Does anything in particular stick out to you? How about the amount of time between events? Could appearances by these two entities have been deliberately staggered in order to hide some kind of greater conspiracy? One that implies that these two characters may not actually be two at all? That they may possibly be one and the same?

Look, all I’m saying is that the above timeline may suggest that they are indeed the same person. Even just by looking at their bone structure, can you really deny the resemblance? Hell, Fightin’ Joe could’ve gotten away with using Anthony’s photo on his Facebook profile for that doppelganger trend a few years back if he wanted to. All he really needed was a wig and maybe a few facial prosthetics to switch between his two lives.

Based on the carefully curated public appearances listed above, there was an entire year where Anthony Weiner was neither seen nor heard from. And the whole “Carlos Danger” alias? That could have been just an attempt to cover tracks by throwing another name into the paper trail.

Look, all I’m saying is that things aren’t always as they seem, and when you look at the similarities between the two, you can’t deny that something fishy may be going on here.
