Recent 23 Year Old Indignant When Asked For ID at ABC Store
FAIRFAX, Va. — Stressing the sheer inconvenience of having to pull out her driver’s license, 23-year-old Fairfax resident Julianne Garrett was indignant when asked for her ID at an ABC store, sources confirmed Tuesday. Garrett, who only turned 23 last month, had stopped by the store to pick up a bottle of Jose Cuervo tequila for a party when the checkout operator requested she present an ID for age verification.
“Ugh, this is such a hassle,” a flustered Garrett complained while flipping through the numerous cards in her wallet in search of her driver’s license. “I’m already late for my friend’s birthday party, and now I’ve got to deal with this. I totally look closer to thirty.”
Eyewitnesses corroborated that after the incident, Garrett stormed out of the store, muttering that she would reluctantly take the gesture as a compliment.
